Ok. As you may have known, I have been called Princess Diana. But do you know where I got this name? It originated from the 4 free days we spent at BaΓ±os. I was so excited to do ziplining again and the so-called cool bridge that takes you to see beautiful scenery. I have always been keen on all kinds of excitement, ranging from roller coasters to rafting, to trying the Tarzan swing. I was like "This is just something similar and easy peasy!"π Look at our confidence in this photo prior to our adventure. I guess nobody was expecting the challenges coming after. (at least for me..π»

But, I did not expect it to be swinging and dangling! I immediately regretted the decision to go on this adventure and my legs were uncontrollably shaky like crazy!! And I couldn't stop them. See the video to understand what I meant by dangling. I felt like I could fall any second when the bridge moved. I have never appreciated the existence of land and gravity. But when I was on the bridge that was the only thing I could think of to return to Mama ground floor.
And when you thought it could not get crazier. It did.. So the cliff climbing was another level of challenge. I did not know where to place my feet as each bar are so far away to the other and I felt that I could slip any time. I remembered giving the photographer a deadly stare and hoping he would help me π¨ get straight to the top. But I soon realized that it gotta be me, alone, conquering my fear so that I can reach the top. I bit my lip, constantly taking deep breaths, trying to calm my legs down because they were shaking harder. Oh did I mention that we needed to switch (by unlocking and locking) the harness ourselves to connect to the next rail? (there were probably 7 switches in total..)
πFakest smile of my life :)
Well, to be able to write this blog, it meant that I made it. I was able to conquer the worst fear I encountered so far, and after we finished, we all felt like a different person. I said that I felt like Wonder Woman, Diana Prince. She is my favorite superhero. And Javier quickly called me that and for the rest of the trip, I was given this nickname which I love, which always reminded me of being brave!

I love your story, Doris. Always keep the spirit of WW Princess Diana with you! She is my favorite super hero as well, I have dressed up as WW at least 3 times for halloween, starting at 5 years old! LOL
